| Due to the lack of quality standards : acceptable methods of repairing
: poor overall performance of the powder coated jobs :(by examining jobs
done by others, depite their best efforts ,it has become clear that the
poles looks good when relatively new after 3 to 5 years of service lost
of adhesion , color and sheen is clearly evident. refer to photograps) We can offer warranty for 90 days only (in line with other manufactures) Under following conditions 1-we will apply the powder in accordance with the spec. developed by us. 2- small pin holes aproximately the size of a grain of salt are deemed to be acceptable 3- Maximum liability not to exceed $150.00 a pole. Spec. to be as followed: 1- the galvenizer is to insure sufficient pickling time to remove all the scale. 2- Poles shall be swept blasted with fine medium , and the pressure not exceding 20 to 30 psi. and 45 degree angle or any other method provided that there is no overblasting or delamination visible, (keep in mind delamination may be present even if not visible) we do not feel that chemical cleaning is sufficient to develope adhesion in powder process. 3- every pole shall be individually wraped within 1 to 2 hours after swept blasted. (to avoid oxidation) 4- In no way the pole shall be exposed to moisture or rain. 5- Poles to be preheated to 350 to 375 degree F. for 20 minutes (in cases of request for primer the preheat temperature shall not exceed 250 degrees F.) 6- Poles to be post baked 350 to 375 for 20 minutes. |
